Job summary

Building Futures Pediatric Therapy in Louisiana is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to assess and treat children with developmental and functional challenges, helping them participate in daily activities at home, school, and in the community.

You'll collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized plans, and support growth with compassionate, patient-centered care in our Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston clinics.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Louisiana Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility for licensure).
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote carryover of therapy goals at home.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain a positive, engaging, family-centered therapy environment.
• Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
