Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate children and design individualized treatment plans. The role involves providing therapy to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence, following physician-approved plans of care and evidence-based interventions.

You will educate caregivers to support progress outside sessions, monitor progress, and adapt plans as needed while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license or eligible to obtain licensure before start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) is a plus but not required.
