Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• New York State Licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent communication skills with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration in a pediatric setting.
• Strong clinical skills in evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for children with developmental delays.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify potential physical therapy needs.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals for care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress.
• Participate in staff development and training to stay current with best practices and EBP.
• Demonstrate a commitment to culturally sensitive and family-centered care.
