Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (PT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in early intervention or pediatrics.
• Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children aged 0-3 with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, play, and daily routines goals.
• Provide physical therapy services in home and community settings, including natural environments and play-based activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and teachers to ensure a comprehensive approach.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and support.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes.
