Job summary

Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices in New York seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention Program for children aged 0-3 with ASD and related developmental disabilities.

You will create individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams, and document progress to support each child's development across communication, play, and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in New York.
• Experience working with under-3 children or in early intervention is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to children aged 0-3 with ASD and related developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with families and teams.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions to address OT needs.
• Collaborate with ABA therapists and special education professionals for comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in OT.

Job Summary:

Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals in our Early Intervention Program. As a Therapist at SKHOV, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of children aged 0-3 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. Our team focuses on helping young children achieve developmental milestones, such as communication, play, and daily routines, to set them up for success in life. We service all five boroughs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to children aged 0-3 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions to address occupational therapy needs
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as ABA therapists, and special education teachers, to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy

Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience: 1 years of experience
• License/Certification: License in the state of New York

What We Offer:

• Salary: $60 - $65 a Half Hour (depending on experience)
