Job summary

Shema Kolainu - Hear Our Voices in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy for children ages 3–21. You will plan sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and service providers to align therapy with each student’s learning needs.

The role emphasizes fostering independence, confidence, and a love of learning while maintaining compliance and accurate records. We offer supervision, mentoring, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active NY Physical Therapy license.
• Experience with pediatric therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement physical therapy sessions based on the student’s unique needs and goals.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related service providers to establish and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Create an inclusive and adaptive learning environment that meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Facilitate communication between students, families, and educational staff to strengthen support systems.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of educational progress and communicate regularly with the education team.
