Job summary

The Arc of Union County is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Early Intervention program in Mountainside, NJ. This per diem role services children aged 0–3 in-home and in community settings, coordinating with families and other therapists to promote independence and mobility.

Applicants must hold a Master's in Physical Therapy, a NJ PT license, and at least 1 year of pediatric home or clinic experience. A personal vehicle is required for travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy from a PT program approved by the APTA.
• Current Physical Therapy license for the state of operation (New Jersey).
• Minimum of 1 year experience providing physical therapy to children at home or in a PT facility.
• Must have a personal vehicle to travel between clients' homes and schools.

Responsibilities

• Meet and discuss treatment plans with patients and initiate therapeutic methods to improve daily function.
• Develop and perform age-appropriate therapeutic programs for 0–3 year olds in home or community settings.
• Document findings and coordinate with occupational therapists for integrated care.
• Provide in-home and community PT services to children and their families in Union County.
