Job summary

LEE’S DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to serve children from birth to three years in Essex County, with potential visits to Passaic, Sussex, Middlesex and Union counties. You will evaluate children, develop and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to families' homes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the child to determine their physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapy programs to improve childs' mobility, strength, and function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Educate families on proper therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and documentation.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participating as part of multidisciplinary service delivery team, training parents, and staff.
