Job Description

This pediatric position is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The Physical Therapist consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers in a pediatric population.

We offer up to a $25,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time positions. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Full‑time
• Part‑time
• PRN (as needed)

Scope

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of a patient’s condition.
• Develops treatment plans with goals and anticipated outcomes, including exercise regimens for clinic and home to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance. May use modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
• Provides information regarding the selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
• Determines a patient’s ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abides by service behavior standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One (1) year of related experience, preferably in a clinic setting.

Preferred

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Requirements

• Regular attendance during scheduled business hours or shifts.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Highly organized and analytical.
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical fitness: carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking.

Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, Montana.

Hours and Pay

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Hourly rate: $42.66 – $65.82, depending on experience.
