STEPS for Kids, Inc. is seeking a part-time physical therapist to serve children birth through adolescence in a family-centered, play-based clinic. The role offers 6–30 hours per week with potential to grow to 40 hours as caseload develops, aligned with our multidisciplinary team approach and emphasis on lifelong learning.

Ideal candidates are energetic, compassionate, and playful, with interest in leadership through program development and growth of pediatric PT services.

Formación

• Licensed in Illinois as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
• Experience with birth to adolescence and pediatric neurodevelopmental/neurological/orthopedic conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication adaptable to varied audiences.
• Compassionate, dedicated to pediatrics and willing to grow professionally.
• Able to work independently and within a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pediatric physical therapy interventions for children.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in program growth.
• Develop and document evaluations, care plans, and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Ability to work with ages birth through adolescence, with a range of diagnoses including neurodevelopmental, neurological and orthopedic conditions.
• Ability to work with children who have varied levels of cognition and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to all audiences
• Compassion and dedication to working in pediatrics
• Flexible and motivated for problem solving

• Commitment to professional and personal development
