Responsibilities

1. Assess each patient and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.
2. Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goals.
3. Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient.
4. As a pediatric physical therapist, provide treatments to infant, child, and adolescent patients with conditions that limit their physical abilities. Help them learn to move correctly, reduce pain, increase function of injured body parts, and promote healing. Develop treatment plans outlining goals and methods for patient rehabilitation. Assess patient progress to ensure effective treatment.
