Job summary

Crane Rehab Center in Metairie and New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. We welcome full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities for passionate therapists focused on helping children develop skills and independence.

We offer a supportive, collaborative pediatric therapy environment with a multidisciplinary team and a focus on family engagement to support progress at home.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide PT services to children with developmental delays, neurological or orthopedic conditions.
• Help children improve mobility, balance, coordination, strength and functional independence.
• Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, SLPs, behavior therapists and other team members.
• Educate parents and caregivers on goals and home activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with standards and policies.
• Participate in team meetings and coordinate patient care with families.

We provide pediatric physical, occupational, speech and behavioral therapy services in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our team is dedicated to helping children develop essential skills, achieve greater independence and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy services to children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions and other physical or functional challenges.
• Help children improve mobility, balance, coordination, strength and functional independence.
• Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, behavioral therapists and other members of our multidisciplinary team.
• Educate parents and caregivers on treatment goals, therapeutic activities and strategies to support progress at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
