Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in phlebotomy including venipuncture on newborns through adolescence.
• CPR certification preferred.
• ASCP phlebotomy certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects laboratory specimens properly and safely from patients newborn through age 21 using excellent customer service.
• Performs blood collection procedures for a variety of tests and ensures safety and proper handling.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA regulations.
• Promotes lean culture by continually seeking process improvements and waste reduction.
