Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Services team. You will collect blood specimens from patients ranging from newborns to 21 years old and perform related laboratory processing with accuracy and compassion.

Qualifications

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience including venipuncture on newborns through adolescence.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collects laboratory specimens from patients aged newborn to 21 with strong customer service.
• Perform blood collection procedures for complex tests and safety protocols.
• Perform sweat collections according to standard guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in specimen processing and clerical duties in the lab.
