Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician in Champlin, MN. The role requires pediatric experience and involves venous and capillary blood collection, POC testing, and processing for diverse patient ages from infants to geriatrics.

Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, in-clinic setting. Pay ranges between $24.00 and $27.00 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexibility to cover weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or performs POC testing as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws blood from newborn to geriatric patients using aseptic technique.
• Delivers and reports results within policy timeframes.
• Performs POC tests and documents appropriately.
• Reports incidents and supply needs to leadership.
• Logs refrigerator temperatures daily and reports deviations.
