Responsibilities

• Collects blood and urine specimens including instructions, education, handling, packing, storage, and shipping of specimens to testing laboratories.
• Maintains a clean outpatient phlebotomy room and supplies.
• Performs aliquot procedures and maintains central storage specimens.
• Provides clerical and call center support including staffing the call center and data collection.
• Educates and trains family and hospital personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
