• Reassure patients and help them relax.
• Find suitable veins for puncture and draw blood.
• Label test tubes correctly and handle specimens for testing.
• Maintain safety by handling sharps properly and disposing of waste.
• Adhere to proper test tube order of draw.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and accurate record keeping.
