Qualifications

• CMA (AAMA) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Strong priority and workflow management.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Clear communication with patients and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients by phone or in person and handle inquiries.
• Direct patients to triage after phlebotomy.
• Arrange and prepare phlebotomy room instruments and supplies.
• Collect blood specimens by skin puncture or venipuncture following protocols.
• Instruct patients on proper urine sample collection and preservation.
• Label samples accurately and process per protocols.
• Support clinic flow and provide feedback to optimize workflow.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Sterilize medical instruments and maintain a clean environment.
