Children's Minnesota, a leading pediatric health system, seeks a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to advance the pharmacy department. The role focuses on specialized tasks, medication preparation, and collaborative work with pharmacists to support patient care in a two-hospital, on-site setting.

The position involves pharmacy records, inventory control, and contributing to audits and process improvements under supervision. Minnesota licensure and CPhT certification within 1 year are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Minnesota (required).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 1 year of hire (required).
• Associate or higher degree or 5 years of relevant experience (required).
• Three years pharmacy experience and familiarity with pharmacy systems (required).
• Leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service via specialized pharmacy tasks under supervision.
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy leaders in mission-critical areas.
• Handle pharmacy record keeping and inventory control.
• Conduct audits and analyses to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Report findings to leadership with improvement recommendations.
