Job summary

Children’s Minnesota's pharmacy department seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide safe, effective drug therapy and education across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will support pediatric care with specialized drug information services and participate in a robust residency program.

The role includes rotating day and evening shifts, weekend coverage, and collaboration with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Minnesota required or within three months of hire.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred for decentral position.
• Pediatric residency and BCPPS preferred.
• FPGEE/FPGEC for foreign graduates with ACPE-equivalency
• BLS certification required or within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides information to patients, families and colleagues to promote optimal drug use.
• Coordinates delivery of effective, safe, and cost-effective drug therapy.
• Provides daily oversight of pharmacy technician activities.
• Rotating day and evening shifts, every other weekend, and one week of overnight coverage followed by a week off.
