Job summary

Children’s Minnesota’s Pharmacy department seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications and handling prescription data in a fast-paced pediatric hospital setting.

The role requires an active Minnesota technician registration or student intern status with enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy, and a willingness to learn and train others. Strong organizational and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Active technician registration in MN or active enrollment in a pharmacy program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist a registered pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions and related processes.
• Collect and input new and refill prescriptions and patient information; train new staff as proficiency is reached.
