Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our pediatric pharmacy team in Minnesota. The role involves IV preparation, unit-dose cartfill, inventory control, Pyxis stocking, and processing outpatient prescriptions.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of pharmacy tech experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent teamwork. On-site location with every-other-weekend evening shifts is expected; certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and patient care processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Intravenous product preparation.
• Unit dose cartfill and inventory management.
• Automated and decentralized medication stocking (Pyxis).
• Outpatient prescription processing and coordination.
• Internals and external pharmacy operations support as assigned.
