Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Casual/PRN) to join our pharmacy team in Orlando, Florida. The role supports inpatients and the hospital's pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and delivery and customer service to internal and external customers.

The position requires a High School Diploma, at least six months of experience, Florida licensure within six months of hire, and preferred certification.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of six months experience required. Pharmacy Internship or completion of a six month training program may be considered as required work experience.
• Florida Pharmacy Technician licensure required within 6 months of hire. Florida Pharmacy Intern license may be accepted in lieu of Florida Pharmacy Technician License.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides Pharmacy Services in the Inpatient Pharmacy Department and at Nemours Children's Hospital.
• Assists in preparation and delivery of medications to be dispensed to patients and provides customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs unit dose cart fill, Pyxis functionality, IV preparation, unit dose packaging, filling outpatient prescriptions, and other duties as assigned.
• Works under the supervision of the pharmacist and cross-trained to support Retail or Inpatient Pharmacy as needed.
• Maintains accuracy in calculations for dosage determinations and adheres to state and federal regulations.
