Job summary

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children seeks a Pharmacy Technician III to support operational and distribution tasks across its pharmacy operations including computer and equipment systems.

The position requires a Florida Pharmacy Technician registration and CPht certification, plus more than four years of experience. This role will work the VFT - Night shift and support both Arnold Palmer and Winnie Palmer Hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current CPht (PTCB/ICPT) certification is required.
• >4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
• Assists pharmacist with medication distribution and dispensing duties.
• Maintains USP 797 standards and regulatory documentation.
• Manages controlled substance inventory and related records.
