Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Orlando, Florida, seeks a Pharmacy Manager (Operations) to oversee pharmacy operations within the hospital and affiliated clinics. The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree, pediatric residency preferred, at least 5 years hospital pharmacy experience, supervisory experience, and

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Pediatric residency preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, manages, and communicates department activities; develops goals, policies, and protocols.
• Participates in departmental strategic planning and budget-related activities.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and performance measures; reviews and improves services.
• Develops standards of performance and coordinates staff development and coverage.
• Oversees distribution of medications within hospital and clinics; may function as order entry pharmacist.
• Builds strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
