Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager (Operations) to lead pharmacy operations at the Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida. The role focuses on drug distribution, resource management, and meeting the needs of internal and external customers within the hospital and affiliated clinics.

The position requires a Master's in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), a Florida pharmacist license, and at least 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred.
• Pediatric residency preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Active Florida Pharmacist License - in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, manages, and communicates department activities; develops goals and objectives and implements policies and procedures for Pharmacy Departmental operation.
• Participates in departmental strategic planning; manages operations within budget.
• Assists with compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO and others) and develops performance measures and reports.
• Develops standards of performance; supervises technical staff; coordinates staff development.
• Understands distribution of medications across NCH and affiliated clinics; may perform order entry pharmacist duties.
