Shriners Children’s is seeking a Patient Registrar to efficiently register patient encounters, collect accurate demographic and insurance information, and guide patients to the appropriate destination within the hospital. The role includes clerical tasks, data entry, and assisting with admissions and related processes.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least two years of clerical experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with medical terminology;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years clerical experience, including typing and computer use.
• Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology and local resources.

Responsabilités

• Obtaining patient demographic and insurance information.
• Providing clerical support (typing, proofreading, filing, copying, faxing).
• Keeping the computer database current and scheduling appointments for Shriners resources.
