NHRMC in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meals and nourishments within the Nunnelee Pediatric Specialty Clinic. This full-time position assists nursing staff, maintains dining area cleanliness, and follows hospital policies to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Applicants should have a General Education Degree and a Nursing Assistant certification; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred. Knowledge/experience with medical terminology is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient care activities to meet daily needs within scope of practice.
• Transcribes and processes provider orders and written information.
• Communicates information according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Organizes, prioritizes and performs work effectively.
• Facilitates patient flow by coordinating transfers and discharges in appropriate systems.
• Maintains and adjusts schedules to support team performance.
• Demonstrates commitment to department values and patient satisfaction.
• Promotes positive interpersonal relations with team and customers.
• Performs point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
