Job summary

Triangle Springs in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support patient meals and dietary needs on a PRN basis. You will help prepare general and therapeutic trays, take patient menu requests, and ensure accurate identification to serve the correct diet and supplements.

You’ll work with the kitchen team to follow diet guidelines, keep the tray line clean, deliver meals, record meal intakes, and assist with daily tasks during downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver patient meals according to diet orders.
• Accurately prepares food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Verify tray accuracy.
• Deliver and collect daily menus; assist patients with ordering.
• Record meal intakes of patients.
• Maintain clean and organized tray line; wash dishes and utensils.
• Transport soiled trays and utensils to the dish area.
• Wash, sanitize, and store trays and dishes.
• Dispose of trash and garbage properly.
