Connecticut Children’s is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join the MS7 pediatric medical-surgical unit in Hartford. You will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and document patient information under RN supervision.

The role supports unit operations, supplies, and patient safety on a fast-paced floor. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS/CPR within 2 weeks of hire, and CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; CNA/MA/EMT training preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS/CPR required within 2 weeks; CNA certification preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate英語 and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living as assigned on the unit.
  • Accurately document patient information in appropriate forms and electronic records.
  • Maintain unit supplies, equipment, and cleanliness; support routine clerical tasks as directed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pediatric patient needs from neonate to adolescence and apply culturally sensitive care.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and coordination with RN and other team members.
