Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a pediatric setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a clean and safe patient environment, and participate in discharge planning. Pediatric experience and CPR certification are required or preferred, with the offered pay range reflecting experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
• One year of pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care including personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, mobility, ambulation, comfort and rest.
• Orients the patient and family to the care areas and helps them feel comfortable.
• Provides delegated nursing care activities and assists with daily care tasks.
• Participates in the discharge process under RN supervision.
• Keeps unit and work areas stocked appropriately for patient needs and PPE.
