Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of nursing assistant educational program or certification.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN degree program with a clinical rotation completed at hire.
• One year of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection and documentation of patient/family data.
• Obtain and document vital signs and notify RN of abnormal findings.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in collaboration with the RN and patient/family.
• Collaborate with multiple RNs to prioritize workload based on patient/family needs.
• Assist in identifying patient/family response to care.
• Provide input to the RN for development and modification of the plan of care.
• Maintain accountability for self-development and contribute to the development of others.
• Demonstrate commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and customer service.
• Participate in achieving hospital/unit goals.
