Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology; pediatric pathology certification/eligibility considered an asset.
• Graduate of an accredited medical school or international equivalent, with residency in pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provides surgical, clinical, or autopsy diagnostic services including frozen section, gross and microscopic examination, and autopsy reporting.
• Supervises residents and fellows; participates in teaching of students and trainees.
• Contributes to budget development, new procedures, cost containment, and equipment usage decisions.
• Directly supervises staff and participates in performance appraisals; assists in staff development.
