Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, Texas, seeks a full-time board eligible/board certified Pediatric Palliative Care physician to join a high-functioning interdisciplinary team.

The team includes physicians, NPs, nurses, and therapists; outpatient clinic and home-based telemedicine are offered; call responsibility is 1:5 and opportunities for teaching, committee work, and research exist.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required; Texas license and start date prerequisites.
• Board certified/eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• ACGME/AMA pediatric residency completed.
• DEA registration; BLS and PALS.
• Unrestricted Texas medical license (must obtain before start).

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary team providing pediatric palliative care consults.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including telemedicine options.
• Share teaching, committee and research opportunities as available.
• On-call responsibility: 1:5.
