The successful candidate will join a well-established, high functioning interdisciplinary team which includes four physicians, four nurse practitioners, nurses and clinical therapists who work in close collaboration with spiritual care and child life teams.We are a consultative service within a large pediatric healthcare system, including a 477-bed tertiary care pediatric hospital with an average daily inpatient census of 20-30 patients. We also regularly see patients for new consults or follow-up visits on an outpatient basis in our own in-person clinic or via our virtual home-based telemedicine program. Call responsibility will be 1:5. The team sees patients of all ages and all stages of disease. We follow patients with a diverse variety of medical conditions. There are opportunities to work with home-based hospice services if desired.Good communication and collaboration skills and flexibility are desired qualities.
