Ascension's Dell Children’s Medical Center North in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Pediatric PACU RN to provide expert nursing care in the immediate post-anesthesia period, adhering to AORN/ASPAN standards and aseptic technique.

You will monitor physiological responses to anesthesia, manage pain, and support safe transitions in a high-volume pediatric surgical environment. Eligible applicants require TX RN licensure and BLS/ACLS per hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas (current)
• ACLS or BLS required within hire period
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Responsabilités

• Provide expert nursing care for high-acuity post-operative patients
• Evaluate physiological responses to anesthesia and surgery
• Implement aggressive, individualized pain management strategies
• Advocate for patient safety in a Level 1 surgical setting
