Job summary

Children’s Mercy in Kansas City is seeking PACU-staff nurses to provide specialized, age-appropriate perioperative care for Level 0 to 4 procedures in a hospital setting. You will apply the nursing process, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, family-centered environment.

Starting pay is benchmarked at $33.84 per hour, with eligibility for benefits and on-site roles only.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred for hires after Sep 1, 2013.
• RN licensure in MO/KS or multistate license; KS/MO compact rules apply.
• Life Support Certifications required upon hire (BLS/ACLS).

Responsibilities
