Job summary

Kid's Thrive West Cincinnati seeks an Outpatient Therapist to deliver pediatric outpatient therapy, evaluating and treating children while partnering with families and the care team to design individualized plans. You will document progress and coordinate with schools and outside providers to support functional outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration, clinical judgment, and ongoing professional development within a family-centered setting, with a strong commitment to privacy and quality care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted professional license appropriate to the therapy discipline and state requirements.
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.
• Outpatient therapy experience is preferred.
• New graduates may be considered based on qualifications and applicable licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients receiving outpatient therapy services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional goals.
• Provide skilled interventions appropriate to diagnosis and plan.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care team members.
• Communicate treatment goals and home strategies with families.
• Coordinate care with outside providers, schools, and community resources when appropriate.
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings.
• Stay current with continuing education and professional development.
