Job summary

A prominent children's health organization in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Surgical Technologist for full-time work involving three 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, be graduates of a Surgical Technology program, and preferably certified as surgical technologists. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or outpatient surgery setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures to maintain a safe operating environment.
• Ensure sterility of equipment and instruments.
• Participate in Universal Protocol Sign In, TIME OUT, and Sign Out.
• Monitor the sterile field and operative team.
