Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient services. This PRN role involves 8- and 10-hour shifts, primarily pediatric patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with potential for other days.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and current BLS with ACLS/PALS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
