Job summary

Spaulding Charlestown - SRH Main Campus in Boston, MA is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist for a 40-hour-per-week, full-time schedule (4- or 5-day options). Pediatric specialties (aquatic therapy, equipment, braces) may be used depending on coverage needs.

Graduation from an accredited PT program is required; MA licensure is required and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred for post-2016 graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure by MA is required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred for post-2016 practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance and adjust treatments to goals.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust plans to maximize benefit.
• Supervise PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
• Discuss goals and plans with patient and family.
• Document goals, progress, and reevaluation plans.
