Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist at Spaulding Charlestown - SRH Main Campus in Boston. The role is full-time (40 hours) with 4- or 5-day schedules and pediatric specialties may be required based on coverage needs.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing plans of care, supervising PTAs, and contributing to hospital quality improvement. A Master’s in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy is preferred; MA state

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• MA State License required for practice.
• 1-3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Provides in-service education to nursing staff as needed.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with patient and family.
• Participates in hospital-wide quality process improvement.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
