Job summary

Spaulding Charlestown - SRH Main Campus is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist to help children reach maximum functional goals. You will interpret evaluations, set treatment plans, and guide patients and families through exercises and use of assistive devices.

A Master's in Physical Therapy is required, and MA licensure is expected; a Doctor of Physical Therapy is preferred. This full-time, onsite position offers a 40-hour work week with potential pediatric specialty coverage

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in MA is required.
• 1-3 years experience preferred in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Provides in-service education programs for nursing personnel as needed.
• Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with both patient and family.
• Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
