Candidates must have NC Board of Pharmacy registration and Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT), plus a high school diploma with an accredited training program and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
Acceptance into pharmacy school.
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of pharmacy or health care related experience.
North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration is required.
Pharmacy Technician certification is required from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient interviews and support medication safety and adherence initiatives.
Perform patient follow up calls and collect clinical data for the pharmacist.
Operate and troubleshoot equipment and software such as carousels and dispensing cabinets.
Assist with training of new employees and students.
Perform other related duties incidental as assigned.
