Job summary

isha seeks a pediatric occupational therapist to advance our specialty services at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital.

The OTII will deliver complex patient care in outpatient developmental pediatrics and inpatient acute pediatrics (NICU, PICU, and general medicine floors) and mentor other therapists. The role focuses on leading the clinical advancement of the pediatric service line, collaborating with a high-performing team in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Burn Center, and Primary Stroke Center, located

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Occupational Therapist License.
• Two (2) years of post-graduate Occupational Therapy Clinical Experience
• Completion of a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an American accredited college or university or from a foreign Occupational Therapy Program recognized by the State of Illinois for OT License
• NBCOT certification
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Serve as specialty area therapist focusing on pediatric services.
• Mentor and orient other therapists assigned to pediatric service areas.
• Lead the clinical advancement of the pediatric service line.
• Provide clinical care at the highest level of complexity in NICU, PICU, and general medicine floors.
