Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year pediatric therapy experience.
• Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy license; AOTA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations for school-based OT.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate students' physical and sensorimotor development.
• Collaborate with Child Study Team and Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team.
• Communicate evaluation results to staff, parents, students and others.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plan goals and objectives.
• Document daily therapeutic activities and data.
• Fabricate and order adaptive therapeutic equipment.
• Provide in-service training to district personnel.
