Job description

An Early Intervention Specialist/CBRS (Community-Based Rehabilitative Services) provider in NC supports children (birth-3) with developmental delays in natural environments. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Natural Environment Delivery: Provide services in the child's home or community setting (daycare, etc.), focusing on daily routines.
  • Family-Centered Care: Collaborate with families to create and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), teaching parents strategies to support development.
  • CBRS/Developmental Therapy: Implement play-based, evidence-based interventions to improve cognitive, communication, motor, and social-emotional skills.
  • Assessment & Documentation: Conduct developmental assessments, monitor progress, and complete accurate, timely documentation of sessions.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with service coordinators, therapists (PT, OT, Speech), and community providers.
