Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in the Kansas City metro area is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing outpatient clinic serving children ages 3–6, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This role offers 1:1 therapy, flexible full- or part-time schedules, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You’ll evaluate, treat, and document using OpenEMR while building a strong pediatric caseload.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist (COTA welcome).
• Interest in working with a pediatric population.
• Comfortable working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children (ages 3–6).
• Work primarily with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions lasting approximately 30–60 minutes.
• Complete evaluations, typically scheduled for approximately 90 minutes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals.
• Complete documentation using OpenEMR.
• Manage daily caseload and schedule within clinic operating hours.
