Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in clinic and home health settings. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions for fine motor, sensory processing, and ADLs.

We offer flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN), option for clinic, home health, or hybrid, plus comprehensive benefits and support for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral OT degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current Texas OT license or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• Pediatric OT experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, organizational and clinical skills.
• Passion for helping children reach developmental milestones and independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based OT interventions to improve fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, coordination and balance, strength and ROM, ADLs, and functional independence.
• Educate caregivers on home programs and therapeutic strategies.
• Collaborate with COTAs, SLPs, PTs, nurses, physicians and other professionals to provide family-centered care.
• Supervise COTAs when applicable.
• Complete timely documentation while ensuring compliance with state and company standards.
• Build strong relationships with patients and families through compassionate, one-on-one care.
