Job summary

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a long-term local contract in Batesville, Arkansas. This position is based in a pediatric therapy clinic and developmental preschool, serving children from birth through age 7 with developmental delays or special needs.

The role offers a 48-week contract with a pay rate of $50–$56 per hour, Monday–Friday, with 8-hour days in a clinic setting. In-person assignment with collaboration among families and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Arkansas Occupational Therapist license.
• At least 1 year of experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool children with developmental disabilities or special needs.
• Strong pediatric evaluation and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy clinical environment.
• Passion for helping young children reach developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and direct treatment services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's developmental needs.
• Support children with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, coordination, and functional independence.
• Work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other therapy professionals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to support developmental goals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, evaluation reports, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to support positive outcomes for children.
